Ingredients

315 g Nomix gluten-free flour
60 g fine corn flour
200 g butter
150 g powdered sugar
1 vanilla sugar
2-4 TSP anise
2 TBSP rum
1/2 egg (25 g)
1 TSP lemon peel
2 TBSP lemon juice

 

How to prepare

We consider the spicy aroma and flavour an inseparable part of our Christmas. And it is not only about gingerbread cookies. Anise flavour lovers might be pleased with these anise cookies.

 

Ground the anise well in a mortar. Add it into the mixture of flours and baking powder. Beat the softened fat with the egg and sugar for a while. Then add the powdery ingredients, rum and lemon pell with no prior chemical treatment. Let stand for about 1 hour. Roll the dough into a thick layer (0.8-1 cm) and cut out small shapes. Individual biscuits will spread easily. Bake at 160 °C for 10-12 minutes until slightly pink.
