Ingredients

100 g Millet dough mixture
100 g curd cheese
100 g milk
1 egg
apricots

 

How to prepare

Mix the ingredients thoroughly and let stand for about 10 minutes. The apricots should be washed dried, stoned and cut into quarters. Knead the dough once again and form small dumplings. Roll the dough into a thick stick, cut into small dumplings. Press each one using your fingers and insert a piece of apricot. Dust it with fine corn flour for example. Cook the dumplings for about 7 minutes in slightly salted water. Sprinkle with sugar while still hot, grate cheese and pour melted butter on top. You can even add cinnamon.

 

Tip: If you only have smaller fruit at hand (strawberries, raspberries, currants, jostaberries), you can use the same dough to prepare small gnocchi. Cook them for about 4-5 minutes and when ready, pour the sauce made of hot fruit on top (heat fruit up, add some sugar or honey, slightly thicken with a pinch of corn starch and season with cinnamon or vanilla if necessary).
