Ingredients
170 g Nomix gluten-free flour 30 g fine cor flour |
140 g powdered sugar |
100 g milled nuts |
60 g butter |
1 smaller egg |
you can add some cocoa |
Creme: |
50 g butter |
50 g sweetened condensed caramel milk |
50 g milled nuts |
How to prepare
Beat the sugar with the softened butter and egg. Then add Nomix gluten-free flour, sifted sugar, milled nuts and, if desired, add even some sifted cocoa. Knead the dough and let stand in cold for at least 30 minutes.
Fill walnut forms with the dough. You need not grease the forms, but coat the dough balls for example with fine corn flour before pressing into the forms. The best way is using silicone forms, because those are soft, and you need not knock the cookies out of them breaking them into pieces. Fill the forms only partially, as the dough will increase in volume once baked. Leave a cavity in the middle for the creme.
Use your favourite creme to glue two walnut halves together. Here is the recipe for caramel creme with milled nuts. Beat the butter and add an equal amount of the sweetened condensed caramel milk mixing in the milled nuts last.
