Ingredients
For two cups: 60 g Nomina cereal spelt porridge 120 g (ml) water 80°C 180 g creamy yogurt |
ca. 200 g strawberries 5 g jelly powder 80 ml water 3 TBSP maple syrup 1 TSP lemon juice |
ca. 70 g lumpy curd cheese |
How to prepare
A healthy protein-packed summer snack made from fresh fruit with minimum added sugar. It is prepared using the Nomina wholegrain spelt porridge. It is, however, possible to prepare it using any of the Nomina porridges including the gluten-free ones.
Layer 1: Mix the porridge with the hot water. You can choose a different one than spelt of course. Then mix in the yogurt.
Layer 2: Mix the jelly powder and lemon juice in water and cook them a little. Add the diced strawberries, a couple of mashed strawberries and the maple syrup. Cook it some more (shortly) and remove from the heat.
Layer 3: Crumbled lumpy curd cheese.
Alternate the layers placing them in appropriate glasses. Let the snack cool off in the fridge. Decorate the top with fresh strawberries before serving.
