Ingredients

Gnocchi from 200 g of potato dough mixture

1 can peeled tomatoes

100 g ham (preferably prosciutto)

50 g young pecorino cheese 

2-3 cloves garlic

1 TBSP fresh chopped basil

1/2 TSP dried oregano

pepper, salt

How to prepare

Fry the sliced garlic on a spoon of olive oil, then add the diced ham and for a moment even the dried oregano. Add the canned tomatoes and stew all together to reduce the sauce. After about 10 minutes, season with salt and pepper and continue stewing shortly. In the end, add the chopped basil leaves. Mix the sauce with the gnocchi and sprinkle abundantly with the grated pecorino.
