    A few tips:

     

    • You can mix the porridge in hot milk, your favorite plant-based milk (coconut, almond, rice, etc.) or, for example, in yogurt with water.

    • Use approximately three to four times the amount of hot liquid and adjust the thickness to your liking. Keep in mind that the porridge will swell and thicken within 3-5 minutes.

    • Sweeten? You can sweeten it with honey or some sweet plant-based syrup (grain, maple, chicory, etc.). But milk already provides a sweet taste.

    • The porridge goes well with all kinds of fruit, preferably fresh, and dried fruit tastes great too.

    • A bit of spice can be useful. Cinnamon or star anise are a must, but you can also try a pinch of cloves or others.

    • Yogurt or cottage cheese will add protein.

    • Don't forget seeds and nuts.

    • For sweet tooths, we can add quality chocolate or homemade jam.

    • Or completely differently. Thick porridge can also be prepared as a savory dish. In this case, herbs, garlic, mushrooms, Parmesan, spring onions, or avocado are more suitable.
