One of the components of Nomina office is sorghum. Sorghum is a very old cultivated crop and originates from North East Africa. It was known to the ancient Egyptians already. Gradually it spread to warmer and drier areas of all continents. Today, it's said that the largest quantities are grown in the USA. Depending on the species, sorghum is used for various technical purposes, sugar production and animal feeding. Grain sorghum is cultivated for human consumption. It ranks among the top five food crops grown in the world.

Quinoa is an ancient crop, known to the Incas thousands of years ago. It's now grown not only in the mountainous regions of the Andes in South America, but also in parts of Europe. It's classified as a pseudo-grain (similar to amaranth, for example). Thanks to today's analytical possibilities, we already know why the Incas held it in high esteem. Because of its nutritional value, it's often labelled a superfood. It has a delicious taste, is easily digestible and naturally gluten-free.

Brown rice, or more commonly natural rice, is a partially hulled rice that retains much more B vitamins, more valuable minerals (iron, magnesium and phosphorus) and, of course, fibre than white rice.

Some plants contain a storage polysaccharide that replaces the more familiar starch. This substance is called inulin and is chemically classified as a fructan polysaccharide. The root or tuber of a plant is always the richest in inulin. It's found in plants such as garlic, onions, sunchokes and sunflowers. Our inulin comes from the roots of chicory. As a so-called soluble fibre, it passes through the small intestine without being absorbed. However, it can be used as a source of nutrition by the intestinal bacteria in the large intestine. Inulin acts as a PREBIOTIC. Supporting the growth of bifidogenic microflora is very important for our organism. Colon bacteria contribute to both proper intestinal function and protection against infections. Each serving of Nomina sport contains 5g of inulin.

Nomina office porridge contains complex carbohydrates, which are the right source of energy for our body to perform, as they are released into the body gradually. They also contribute to maintaining normal brain function. It's also a rich source of much needed dietary fibre, which is an essential part of a healthy diet.

The porridge is SUITABLE FOR CELIACS AND A GLUTEN-FREE DIET
