Poppy-curd muffins

Enjoy the delicious poppy-curd muffins, which are not only tasty but also nutritious! Thanks to the high content of curd and poppy seeds, they are an excellent source of natural calcium. 

Directions

  1. Stir the eggs, sugar and cooking oil in a food processor. Add the curd (choose soft or creamy - they have a higher protein content), white yogurt and grated lemon zest 

  2. Blend the dry ingredients - flour, salt, baking powder and whole poppy seeds - in a bowl and stir into the mixture. 

  3.  Stuff the prepared batter into muffin cups, paper or permanent. Place in an oven preheated to 160 °C and bake for 10 minutes. Then raise the temperature to 180 °C and bake for approx. another 15-20 minutes. You can also throw in a few nuts or raisins into the batter.
