The combination with white quinoa flakes, known for their nutritional value as a superfood, increases the nutritional profile of the porridge. Your body's health is then supported by the soluble fibre inulin, a prebiotic substance that serves as food for the intestinal microflora.

Directions Prepare Nomina sport in a bowl with the contents of the sack and 250-270 ml of hot milk. You can also use plant milk. Just stir well and wait 4-5 minutes. The porridge is friends with fresh fruit or a dash of your favourite seeds or nuts. Sweetening is up to you. You can flavour with honey or any sweet vegetable syrup (cereal, maple, chicory, ...). But the milk already has a sweet taste.

Quinoa is an ancient crop, known to the Incas thousands of years ago. It's now grown not only in the mountainous regions of the Andes in South America, but also in parts of Europe. It's classified as a pseudo-grain (similar to amaranth, for example). Thanks to today's analytical possibilities, we already know why the Incas held it in high esteem. Because of its nutritional value, it's often labelled a superfood. It has a delicious taste, is easily digestible and naturally gluten-free.
Brown rice, or more commonly natural rice, is a partially hulled rice that retains much more B vitamins, more valuable minerals (iron, magnesium and phosphorus) and, of course, fibre than white rice.
Some plants contain a storage polysaccharide that replaces the more familiar starch. This substance is called inulin and is chemically classified as a fructan polysaccharide. The root or tuber of a plant is always the richest in inulin. It's found in plants such as garlic, onions, sunchokes and sunflowers. Our inulin comes from the roots of chicory. As a so-called soluble fibre, it passes through the small intestine without being absorbed. However, it can be used as a source of nutrition by the intestinal bacteria in the large intestine. Inulin acts as a PREBIOTIC. Supporting the growth of bifidogenic microflora is very important for our organism. Colon bacteria contribute to both proper intestinal function and protection against infections. Each serving of Nomina sport contains 5g of inulin.
Nomina sport porridge contains complex carbohydrates, which are the right source of energy for our body to perform, as they are released into the body gradually.
