Knead all the ingredients. You may (but don't have to) add the walnuts, which are added towards the end of kneading, when the dough is ready. Let the dough rest for about 4-5 minutes.
Meanwhile, grease the pan. Put the dough into the pan and smoothen the surface. Cover to prevent from drying out and let it rise in a warm place.
After about 35 minutes, heat the oven so that the bread doesn't over rise. Bake the bread at 180 °C for about 1 hour.
If you want the surface of the bread to be glossy, smear it with a whisked egg after about 40 minutes of baking.
