Vanilla rolls (gluten-free)

  1. Mix the dry ingredients, add the softened fat and eggs. Knead well and let it rest for about 1 hour (or overnight) in the refrigerator.
  2. Shape the dough into rolls in the traditional way or roll out a thicker sheet of dough (0.8–1 cm) and cut out crescents with a round cutter.
  3. Place them on a greased baking sheet (if you have a non-stick baking sheet, this is not necessary). Bake at a temperature of about 170 °C until golden brown.
  4. Do not remove them from the baking sheet while they are still warm, they are too fragile at that point. While still warm, coat them in a mixture of sugar and vanilla.
