Chia cookies - prepared on a press (gluten-free)

Prepare delicious and healthy chia cookies on a press. They are an ideal gluten-free treat! The chia seed content makes them full of nutrition and energy. 

Directions

  1. Cream the softened butter, eggs, and sugar well. Stir together the Nomix gluten-free flour, corn flour, baking powder, and seeds and gradually add to the creamed mixture, alternately pouring in the liquid. Don't forget the untreated lemon zest. 

  2. Let the dough rest. It is suitable for making cookies on a 'cookie press'. This can be replaced by a sturdy piping bag to make tiny meringues on the baking tray. It is also possible to press the dough through various dies with a mill. 

  3. Bake for 18-20 minutes at 170 °C until crisp. 

Our tip: The cookies have long shelf life. When stored well, they will last several months.
