Other times, visitors might surprise us, and we would like to offer them something sweet with the coffee.


Mug cake is small sack of mixture which you can store under standard conditions and turn into a dessert in a couple of minutes. It is served warm, and its characteristics are closest to a sponge cake or soufflé.

The preparation is fast and easy. You only need milk, cooking oil and a microwave oven - items standardly found in any kitchen. Following the instructions, you mix the dough straight in the mug and microwave for about a minute. When baked, let it cool for two minutes, and it is ready to be served. You can add a scoop of whipped cream or some fresh fruit on top. A big advantage of the mug cake is the fact that it is gluten-free.
