Ingredients
Gnocchi from 150 g potato dough mixture |
1 sack sauerkraut (500 g) |
50 g bacon |
300 g smoked meat |
1 large onion |
salt, pepper |
How to prepare
Fry the sliced bacon until fat is released. Add the diced onion and fry until glassy. Add the sliced smoked meat and roast all together for a moment. Add the sauerkraut last. If the pieces are too large, chop beforehand. You can add a pinch of salt, pepper and ground caraway. You can even sweeten it to your liking (with black treacle for example). Stew all together until soft. The gnocchi from 150 g of mixture and 225 g of water can be cooked or slightly roasted on a frying pan before mixing with the sauerkraut.
