Ingredients

150 g Nomix gluten-free flour
35 g fine buckwheat flour
220 g (ml) milk
5 g baking powder
35 g brown sugar
35-40 g melted butter (ca. 4 TBSP)
1 large egg

 

you can replace a part of sugar with vanilla sugar
you can add grated lemon peel

 

How to prepare

On those festive days when you are not in a hurry, you can treat yourselves and the whole family to a late breakfast. Waffles are also a fine dessert for your holiday lunch.

 

Mix the flours, salt, sugar and baking powder. Add the milk and egg and whisk thoroughly. Lastly add melted butter (but not hot) and let the dough stand for at least 10 minutes. Use a tablespoon to dose the dough into a waffle iron and bake the waffles (until golden).

 

Finish to your liking. We recommend maple syrup, fruit, yogurt, whipped curd cheese, sour cream or whipping cream, nuts or almonds.
